$100.00
Released September, 2008
The Pros:Provides on-demand feedback on available battery life. Highly durable with an included 2 year warranty. Noise cancelling is effective at blocking out surrounding sound.
The Cons:Blinking indicator light isn't useful, as it isn't visible when its in your ear.
The BlueAnt V1x is the first voice-controlled Bluetooth Headset to ever be released by BlueAnt. It hosts the same voice-user interface as the later released Q1 and Q2 models, but it lacks their advanced text-to-speech functionality.

Basically the V1x only supports one-way verbal communication from the user to the headset, and not vice versa. Regardless, users can easily command it to answer a call, make a call to a friend, or even call Google’s free 411 service. It also supports call mute, call waiting, and call transfer from the headset to the phone, or vice versa. It’s received very good reviews from critics, who all say it provides quality audio and noise isolation. Plus they claim the voice system is very easy to learn. It does not however support A2DP audio streaming.
