Adaptive Audio Adjustment technology is another feature from Bose that will automatically raise the volume level when the background noise increases and lower it when you are in a quiet place. Internal Bluetooth antenna has been specially designed to withstand audio artifacts like pops, clicks and buzzing, and it supports the A2DP profile which makes it compatible with smartphones and other devices for audio streaming of apps, music, podcasts and even turn by turn directions. Since it is ear specific, meaning it is sold in both a left and right ear version it is form fitted for your preference, and it comes with both a small and large StayHear removable silicone tip which distributes pressure evenly inside the ear without the need for an ear hook. Rechargeable lithium ion battery provides up to 4.5 hours of talk time or 100 hours of standby time, and wall and USB charges have been included. The call answer/end button has also been conveniently placed so that the simple top to bottom pressing motion will not dislodge the device from your ear, and a battery indicator light keeps you informed of the battery level at all times. Carrying case is included, Series 2 releases October 3 2011.
