No keypad is included on the phone itself or the base station, so calls can't be made from the headset itself. One button is used for answering and hanging up the headset which works on most cell phones, but does not work on VoIP calls. A single volume dial is used to control the loudness of the ear piece.
The wired model of the phone hooks up directly to your cell phone through the provided cable and adapter. When purchased through the Hulger website a number of adapters are included in the box, and depending on which "version" of the phone you get changes which adapters are included. USB ports and headphone jacks are both supported by the Hulger. The wired model can hook up to your PC three different ways: through the base station to the USB port, connecting the headset directly to the USB port, and thirdly through the headphone and microphone jacks using a Y-Cable.
Bluetooth 2.0 is used for the wireless model. Hulger claims Bluetooth 2.0 provides for better sound quality, and allows for multi-pairing so the headset can be connected with your cellphone and computer at the same time.
